Kingdom Builders
Being a Kingdom Builder in Family Church means making a personal commitment to build the church of tomorrow. Kingdom Builders are stewards of God’s House, passionately serving the church of today as well as being dedicated to the church of tomorrow. With a desire to build a church that will impact future generations, Kingdom Builders sow their time, energy, skills and finance into Family Church. Kingdom Builders take the church to where it’s going next.
The image on the front cover shows a good picture of what it means to be a Kingdom Builder. It’s about working together to ‘build’ God’s church – using the unique skills and gifts that you have to help Family Church become everything that God has called her to be, both now and in the future. Being a Kingdom Builder means taking on a responsibility that goes beyond ‘yourself’, realising the call of God upon His church to continue to increase and to impact society. When you become a Kingdom Builder in Family Church you take ownership of the vision and sow your life into building God’s church for future generations.
On a periodic basis we run a 45 minute session to introduce the concept of Kingdom Builders. This session will remind you of the vision of Family Church and explain clearly how you can become a Kingdom Builder. This session conveniently takes place after the main Sunday meeting (in all congregations) so look out for details in Church News or on the website. If you complete and return the attached form we will write to you with details of the next ‘Introduction to Kingdom Builders’ session.
