Family Church in Portsmouth meet every Sunday at the City Girls’ School on St Mary’s Road. There are two identical meetings, one at 9:15 am and one at 11:15 am.

Each meeting is a vibrant, dynamic expression of the impact and change taken place in the lives of the people that come to church through God’s touch on their lives. We begin with a time of praise, using contemporary-styled songs that are uncomplicated and real and speak about the things God has done.

After a short pause for Church News, the kids get released to Kid’s Church (second service only), then there is a time of worship – a slower, more reflective time with songs that speak to God of what He means to us.

Then there’ll be a message, from one of the pastors, aimed at bringing a better understanding of living God-filled lives. We’ll usually finish with another praise song.

The whole thing lasts about an hour and a half, and is followed by tea, coffee and other refreshments in the Javalicious coffee hall, where you can also find out more about the many events going on in Family Church at the Connections stand, check out the Resources centre, and catch up with friends.
