Sunday - a day like no other

Today we went to an African Church, Pastor Dragan’s Church, one of our interpreters. The choir was awesome, no instruments just great harmonies and a wonderful ability to clap in time in a complicated manner!
Mr C spoke he did a great word about obedience to God’s Word. At the end of the meeting we all had to stand up and introduce ourselves to the church. We all said a few words because the church was so encouraging. Then Patrick (Overland) sprung a worship leading opportunity on me!! So of course it had to be “All Majesty”, with the whole team we led the church, with cheesy dances and all. I was even tempted to introduce the pentecostal two-step but I don’t think they’re ready for that yet. Our second song was “Dance, Dance, Dance”, they loved it!
As we stood there at the front of the church we felt so welcome, so part of the extended family of God, with a sense of being re-united together even though we’d never met.
By the way, after seeing the africans dance, we should seriously up our game!
Tomorrow, out to the village! Pray for us, it’s a great opportunity to reach souls that have never heard the name Jesus before – we are expecting signs and wonders.
I have attached a picture of me yesterday, with some of the villagers that had gathered under a tree to meet us.
Speak to you soon
